Tivon Fine Jewellery guarantees your total satisfaction with our products and services. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply contact us within 14 calendar days and we will endeavour to resolve the matter as quickly an amicably as possible.
CONTRACT FOR SALE
The advertising of products on this site is an 'invitation to treat'. That means your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Tivon Fine Jewellery, so prices and stock availability won't be contractually confirmed until you receive a confirmation dispatched once payment authorisation has been confirmed and stock levels have been checked.
These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by Tivon Fine Jewellery on the site, which we may make from time to time. In particular, nothing said by any representative of Tivon Fine Jewellery will operate as a variation to these terms and conditions or constitutes a legal representation on behalf of them.
RECEIPT OF ORDER
Tivon Fine Jewellery via its dealers or affiliates must receive payment in full for your order before it can be accepted or as negotiated with the individual dealer/affiliate which will be per their discretion. Goods will only be delivered upon payment.
We can accept orders for items that are in stock as well as for 'Tailor-Made' orders i.e. items to be especially tailor-made for you. In exceptional circumstances, if we are not able to fulfil an order we have accepted, you will be credited with the original price or deposit. In no circumstances will we be liable to you for any additional amounts. Should your order be refused or delayed in any manner, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you and to inform you of the delay/refusal.
Tivon Fine Jewellery, its retail dealers and affiliates reserve the right to refuse to supply to any person for whatever reason*.
* Reasons for refusal to take orders may include but are not limited to: incorrect/inaccurate client information being supplied to us; postal/courier strikes; stock shortages; market shortages of certain materials; uncontrollable market price fluctuations of materials; where we suspect that funds being used to purchase our goods may be from non-bona fide, suspicious or illegitimate sources; where we may suspect that fraud and/or money laundering is taking place.
RETURNING A PRODUCT
If you are returning an item purchased through one of our dealers or affiliates - Please note that each dealer/affiliate will have their own returns policy and security procedures when accepting returns. These policies and procedures are at the dealers'/affiliate's SOLE DISCRETION and have nothing to do with Tivon Fine Jewellery's Terms and Conditions. Tivon Fine Jewellery shall not be held liable or responsible for any disagreements, inconvenience or financial loss incurred when a customer returns any of our items through one of our official dealers/affiliates.
If you need to return an item purchased through one of our dealers/affiliates please contact the dealer/affiliate directly.
Should you be dissatisfied with any product/service received from one of our dealers/affiliates - with respect to Tivon Fine Jewellery's products - please contact us. You will need to have your original purchase details handy for this call and we will need to talk to the person who bought the item (so if you e-mail us then please leave a phone number). Provided goods are returned as sold (unworn and in their original packaging) within 14 days of receipt, Tivon Fine Jewellery can exchange goods, send replacements or grant refunds, the decision of which will fall to the SOLE DISCRETION of Tivon Fine Jewellery management, its dealers/affiliates. (This offer does not extend to 'Tailor-Made' orders).
Note - Where it is discovered that returned goods and packaging have been damaged, tampered with and/or altered in any way, no exchanges, replacements or refunds will be granted. (All returns will be subjected to a thorough inspection by our jewellery quality control specialists) In such a case, the customer will remain liable for the full amount. Should any amounts become outstanding, legal action will be instituted.
CANCELLATIONS AND EXCHANGES
If you realize you have made a mistake and want to cancel your order, please contact us or the dealer from which you ordered the item immediately (within 3 days of order). So please follow the instructions for 'Returning a Product' in those instances.
Exchanges work in the same way.
In the case of 'Tailor-Made' orders - In the event that we do not receive notification of your order cancellation within 3 days of your initial order, the order will remain binding and you will remain liable for the entire purchase amount. This is due to the fact that beyond the 3-day limit, steps on Tivon Fine Jewellery's part would have been initiated to prepare your order, including the purchase of precious materials. We thus urge you to take the time to make your purchasing decisions carefully.
DEFECTIVE AND DAMAGED ITEMS
If you should receive an item that is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us within 10 calendar days. Our Tivon Fine Jewellery shopping consultants will help you resolve any issues as quickly as possible by delivering another item, replacing your order or refunding the amount paid. Alternatively, please contact the dealer through which you purchased your product
Please note that the wearing away of the rhodium plating (see details under Hallmarking and Materials) does not in any way diminish the fineness of the gold i.e. if it is an 18ct gold ring, nothing will change this fact. While Tivon Fine Jewellery takes great care to ensure that all aspects of its jewellery adhere to the highest levels of quality and that all items purchased and delivered to its customers are delivered free of defects, the wearing away of the rhodium plating over time due to natural factors (time, extent of wear, an individual's body chemical composition) is considered to be inevitable and does not constitute a defect, latent or otherwise.
